The “Vampire Facelift” is a procedure that involves withdrawing a patient’s blood, processing it to isolate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP), then re-injecting it to erase wrinkles and create a more youthful look.

• Decolouration of skin because of less blood flow.
• Facial Shape becomes collapsed and droopy as muscle and collagen decrease.
• Skin texture becomes less smooth.

• Creating a beautiful natural shape:
The trained personnel use Hyaluronic Acid (HA) filler) in a very specific way to sculpt a younger appearing face–while still keeping the shape natural.
• Isolating & Activating the Magic from Your Blood:
In this part sample of blood is drawn out from your body and platelets are separated from it though a process.

• Injecting the Magic into Your Face:
These platelets are then injected into your face via micro-needling. This stimulates the collagen production thus helping to produce new cells.

The Vampire Facelift procedure only takes about an hour to complete. Since skin renewal and rejuvenation is using the body’s own active regeneration components, facial skin renewal is continual for about 3 months after the procedure. The overall effects of the Vampire Facelift can last for over a year.
This is a non-invasive process with no downtime involved and provides you with young and radiant skin.

This procedure, custom designed by me for each individual’s facial needs, combines hyaluronic acid fillers and platelet rich plasma (PRP). The Juvederm filler is used to correct the most serious existing facial lines and create a more youthful appearance initially.
Then, the PRP is injected in strategic locations around the face to jumpstart the natural rejuvenation process. Over the next several weeks and months after the procedure, the PRP will contribute to maintain the more youthful appearance by improving skin quality, color and texture.
Generally speaking, since this is a minimally invasive procedure, almost anyone can have the Vampire Facelift if desired. A small subset of people who have a large amount of very loose facial skin due to dramatic weight loss and/or age will not be improved, even with the procedure. This subset may be better served with a traditional surgical facelift.
However, more people are opting for the Vampire Facelift. It is, after all, less expensive and safer than invasive surgery, and without the downtime of surgery.
Many people do go back to work, out shopping or out to eat immediately after this procedure. After my Vampire Facelift in August during my training, I had dinner out at a restaurant, returned my rental car, and checked into a hotel without a single person saying a word about my appearance.
The next day, I flew home to Maine without incident. Other than a few needle marks that I could see (because I knew they were there), there was no negative indication of procedure being done on my face.

Some may experience mild redness and/or swelling that usually resolves within 24-48 hours at its worst. Like any procedure involving needles or injections, bruising is always possible.

Unfortunately, the redness, swelling, and bruising cannot be covered up with makeup. However, these effects will go away sooner rather than later.
Traditional facelifts tighten and lift loose skin on the face, but do not do anything to add volume to the face that has been lost over time. Surgical facelifts also expose you to possible anesthesia and post-op infections.
Additionally, long healing times are common with facelifts depending on the extent of the facelift. The bruising from traditional facelifts lasts up to 6-8 weeks. In short, the biggest advantages of the Vampire Facelift are that this procedure involves only needle injections of very safe products, including fillers and a derivative of your blood (PRP), precisely to the desired areas of your face that need volume and enhancement. The best side effects of the Vampire Facelift include minimal downtime, no anesthesia risk, and virtually no side effects of significance.
Like fillers, the positive effects will likely last longer with better general skin care (e.g. no smoking, no tanning, good diet). As with many other hygiene and health maintenance, no procedure is a one-time event, just like getting your hair cut.
